Beachs

Within easy reach of the cave are several great beaches.

The small beach at Antisami is particularly quiet and mostly approached on foot.  It is however a pebbly beach so if you are looking for soft stands then one of the other choices may be better.

But there are 36 beaches in all around the island and each one has its own charm. 

Kaminia Beach, also known as Monda Beach, is particularly liked for the soft sand and is a great place to practice your sand castle building skills!

Closer by, just north up the coast from the cave, is Platanias Beach also called Agia Paraskevi beach after the nearby church, is a soft bright sand beach.
